Abortion debate trivializes rape By LZ Granderson, Special to CNN
Well, now that Oprah's finally said goodbye, maybe women can get back to the important business of planning to be raped. What's that? You have no idea what I'm talking about?
That's exactly what some politicians are hoping for -- women's lack of attention to what is being said about them, women being unaware of what is being decided about them.
I'm a dude, so I don't really have a dog in this race, but I thought an elected official suggesting women should be prepared to be raped the way he is prepared for a flat tire would draw more attention than Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child. But once again, I've overestimated the public's ability to prioritize ... Until American women learn that the 'abortion debate' has very little to do with abortion, but a whole lot to do with reducing us to 2nd class citizens, we will continue to lose our rights one by one. Do you ladies really think the politicians give a damn about abortions? Or the women that have them? Not unless they are the ones lining those fat cats' pockets ...

“Nabeki” didn’t expect everyone to love her when, in September 2009, she founded the website “Howling for Justice” to celebrate the return of gray wolves to the Northern Rocky Mountains and to protest the then-pending wolf hunts in Montana and Idaho. She didn’t expect to fear for her life, either. But after she posted the names of Montana wolf hunters on her site, the threats began. On a single day in February 2010 the anti-wolf movement sent to her 3,000 messages. Some of the e-mails expressed their desire for her to leave the Rockies immediately. Some messages contained graphic descriptions of wolf killing clearly meant to cause her anguish. “When I pulled the trigger, I think I saw the wolf cry,” one person wrote. “Then it’s [sic] guts where [sic] blown onto the hillside and it moaned.” A few of the messages hinted at attacking her personally.

Threatening, murdering, poisoning, and torturing animals isn't enough for some people. These psychopaths will do the same thing to humans that don't agree with them. And the government has basically said that's ok, and rewarded them for being lower than dirt.
